63 Bank Street
In downtown Waterbury, this building had housed the Apothecary Hall Pharmacy for 70 years. We wanted to maintain its heritage when we revamped it in 2013. We restored the building to its original facade with faux balconies, cornices, and all. The seven-story building is primarily a residential space but also features a commercial one on the ground floor. While the outside of the building boasts historic roots, the inside has new interior partitions, energy-efficient heating/electrical systems, and water-efficient plumbing lines. This construction is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
